A couple of weeks ago, we had the opportunity to attend the Bellavita Expo 2019 in London, as VIP Judges.
It was an amazing experience as we had the chance to taste and review the products of this year’s Awards.
We also attended the cooking masterclass by the two Michelin Star Chef Gennaro Esposito (Torre Del Saracino, Napoli) about the secrets of pasta making.
More than 6,000 guests attended this food & beverage trade show at Business Design Centre, Islington, London.
The 2 days event included exhibitors from Spain as well, this year, in addition to over 250 Mediterranean producers exhibitors.
Other masterclasses were led by:
- Michelin Star Chef and MasterChef Italia judge Giorgio Locatelli (Locanda Locatelli)
- Michelin Star Chef Theo Randall (Theo Randall at the InterContinental)
- Chef Francesco Mazzei (Sartoria)
- and many more.
This year’s Bellavita Awards, marking the end of Bellavita Expo, saw Bibanesi breadsticks from DA RE S.p.A. winning the prize for best food product, and La Galvanina’s organic ginger beer winning best beverage. JC Mackintosh’s Andalusian smoked wild bluefin tuna loin receiving the inaugural Ibérica Awards prize for Best Spanish Product, with Linda Drinks’ Linda Tomate with wasabi juice drink receiving Most Innovative Spanish Product.
