It’s now official: the best Neapolitan pizzeria is opening in London!
“50 Kalò” pizzeria has been awarded “3 spicchi” (the highest mark) by Gambero Rosso, the most authoritative company in the quality judgment.
What does “50 Kalò” means? In Greek “kalos” means beautiful, but also good and 50, in the Neapolitan grimace, is the bread: then it means “good dough“.
50 Kalò, after the success in Piazza Sannazaro in Naples, is now opening its doors to an international community that will enjoy the taste of a pizza that balances tradition and innovation.
The owner, Ciro Salvo, brings to London his project of high hydration dough that, combined with the flavours of the best Italian ingredients, gives as result an excellent pizza.
The pizzeria will open in late May 2018 and will be located next to Trafalgar Square, on Northumberland Avenue.
The menu will be similar to the Neapolitan one: pizza, starters and craft beers. All the ingredients will be imported from Italy.
We are really excited because we believe this is the best pizzeria in Naples and we look forward to tasting the same pizza in London.
